The boys that own this store will go out of their way to make you feel at home. They give me the royal treatment everytime I go into there store and I recommend them if you live anywhere near Albany TX you need to be filling your prescriptions at Sanders Drug Store.
So adorable! Loved sipping on a strawberry milkshake at the bistro tables set up on the sidewalk. Definitely has that old-time feel.
The "new" Sanders Drug Store is now owned by Phyllis and Bruce Curry. Phyllis has been a pharmacist for many years and she has assembled a very professional staff for the store. Sanders now has more over-the-counter stock, displayed and labeled in a way that makes items easy to find. To my mind they are the best combination of professionalism and friendly personal service.
They are so very nice and take there time to talk to you about your meds. Very friendly and helpful.
What a marvelous restoration of this old historic ice cream parlor and drugstore soda fountain. When you walk in it’s just like stepping back into time to the era of the 1940’s or 50’s . Besides being able to grab a bar stool at the counter and order a malted milk shake or a root beer float, there are lots of the most interesting variety of vintage retro home decor items and novelties.
